The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Youth Province One has settled the medical bills of eight newborns at the Mother and Child Centre, Amuwo-Odofin General Hospital in Lagos, as part of activities to celebrate the birthday of its General Overseer, Enoch Adejare Adeboye.

In a statement issued on Friday by the Assistant Pastor in charge of Corporate Social Responsibility, Pastor Martins Olusakin, the outreach also included the donation of essential medical supplies to support maternal and child healthcare for a month.

The initiative was spearheaded by the Pastor in charge of the province, Leke Adeboye, alongside Olusakin and the Assistant Pastor in charge of Administration, Abiodun Famojuro.

It further noted that the programme was expanded through collaboration with Shola and Adeola Olowolafe of RCCG Graceville, reaching over seven Mother and Child Centre hospitals across Lagos.

Speaking at the event, Leke Adeboye said the gesture was inspired by the teachings of the church’s General Overseer.

“The life and teachings of our father in the Lord inspire us to give, uplift, and support those in need. This outreach reflects that calling by bringing hope to those who need it most,” he said.

The church added that the initiative underscores its commitment to humanitarian service and community development, noting that it will continue to turn faith into meaningful impact in society.
