Popular Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has held Toyin Abraham responsible for breaching a peace agreement previously reached with Funke Akindele.
Her reaction comes two days after Funke Akindele appeared to publicly snub Toyin Abraham at Iyabo Ojo’s movie premiere on Sunday, an incident that sparked widespread reactions online, with many calling for her intervention.
Responding to the controversy in an Instagram post, Iyabo Ojo disclosed that she had earlier reconciled both actresses on the condition that neither would make indirect remarks online if issues arose, but instead resolve any differences privately.
Explaining the cause of the renewed tension, she alleged that Toyin Abraham made complaints about her movie performance in cinemas, suggesting possible sabotage. This, she said, led some fans to accuse Funke Akindele, reigniting the feud.
Iyabo further revealed that she had made significant efforts in the past to restore peace between them, including pleading with both parties, which resulted in their brief public reconciliation.
Expressing her frustration, she stated that she no longer wishes to be involved in the dispute and urged the public to respect her decision.
