His decision comes at a time when the ADC is reportedly experiencing a surge in new members, following a recent development involving the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and the party’s leadership structure.

According to the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, membership numbers have grown significantly—from just over 40,000 registrations on April 2 to more than 500,000 new members recorded between April 1 and the latest update, as disclosed in a statement shared on April 5.
