We all witnessed the huge number of people who applied for the post of a Personal Assistant (PA) , Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe-Gentry advertised weeks back. The number was argued when it was reported that over 1,000 applicants had applied for the job.
Well, that is the truth! According to Mercy, “Yes, it’s true over 1000 people applied to be my PA when I advertised the vacancy recently. But now, I have chosen the lucky one among them. I think the reason for the alarming rush is the juicy package because the person is going to be earning N100,000 monthly salary. Also, we all know the current situation of the country. There is high level of unemployment now.
She added “Even, people are still submitting applications despite the fact that I have employed the person I wanted. So, u can see how the situation of things is in Nigeria now”
Talking about her hubby and the romantic roles she play “Sometimes, he chastises for not kissing well in a movie. I could be on set for a week or more and he does not make an issue out of it. I know I married my friend and he is very understanding.
