Eden Hazard scores incredible goal in Belgium’s 4-0 rout of Scotland
Eden Hazard’s happiness has been clear for all to see in the winger’s performances for Chelsea so far this term. The Belgian looks as though he’s been given a new lease of life under Maurizio Sarri and he’s paid the Italian back with a number of eye-catching performances already this season. Hazard was open to leaving Chelsea in the summer after a difficult season under Antonio Conte where the winger felt constrained by the Italian’s tactics. However, he’s been given more freedom under Sarri and Hazard looks back to his best for club and country. Belgium were given a heroes welcome when they returned home from their third-place finish at the 2018 World Cup and they continued their fine form with a scintilatting 4-0 win against Scotland at Hampden Park on Friday night. Hazard was among the goals for the Red Devils, scoring an incredible left-footed finish just a minute into the second half. Hazard’s goal added to Romelu Lukaku’s earlier strike and former Chelsea ace Michy Batshuayi scored a brace in the second half to complete the win.
