I HAVE TO PROTECT NDIDI – LEICESTER CITY MANAGER
-By Joseph Omoniyi
Leicester City Manager, Claude Puel has hinted that Nigerian
midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi may sit on the bench in thier game against Huddersfield Town this weekend.
While responding to questions from pressmen ahead of the home game on Saturday, Puel said, he may be forced to rest Winfred Ndidi and England International Harry Maguere to avoid fatigue.
“We have to see if I have to protect some players,” Puel said.
“Perhaps with Harry, because he played two full games with his team (England).
“Perhaps also with Ndidi, for example, because he traveled a lot to play against Seychelles, to play in Liberia.”
