Kannywood’s director dedicates film to Emir of Kano
The famous Kannywood Director and Managing Director of Kamal Film International, Kamal Sani Alkali has dedicated his new released film titled ‘Umar Sanda’ to the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Sanusi Lamido Sanusi.
The Perfectionist as called by his colleagues in Kannywood told Daily Trust that he dedicated the film to the Emir because of his immense contributions to the society.
Kamal who directed films like ‘Gaba Da Gabanta’, ‘Jarumin Maza’ and ‘Zee-Zee’ explained that his new film has addressed the issues of rape, child/girl abuses and also proffers solutions on how to tackle crime, violence and other social vices in the society.
The film starred in Ali Nuhu as Umar Sanda, Falalu Dorayi as Hudu Bazara, Tijjani Faraga as Commissioner of Police, Hadizan Saima as housewife and Ibrahim Shehu as a student.
‘Umar Sanda’ produced by Abubakar Mai Shadda, was created and directed by Kamal S. Alkali, and Screen played by Nazir Alkanawy.
