CHRISTIAN ERIKSEN SET TO JOIN MAN UNITED ON A FREE TRANSFER
Christian Eriksen has agreed in principle to join Manchester United on a free transfer.
The 30-year-old, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Brentford, will now sign a three-year deal with United.
Once that is done, Eriksen will have a medical before completing the move.
The international from Denmark was considering signing with United or Brentford, but has now chosen to join Erik ten Hag at Old Trafford.
After suffering a cardiac arrest while representing Denmark at Euro 2020, Eriksen returned to football and trained with Ajax, where he met Ten Hag.
It is understood that the former Ajax midfielder was drawn to United by the opportunity to work with Ten Hag and be a part of the club’s new era under the Dutchman.
