NEWS UPDATE: PRESIDENT BUHARI SWEARS IN SEVEN NEW MINISTERS
Following their Senate confirmation and vetting, President Muhammadu Buhari, swore in seven new ministers on Wednesday.
On Wednesday, just before the start of the weekly Federal Executive Council meeting, Buhari swore in the new ministers.
The seven new ministers will take the place of those who left their positions in May 2022 in order to pursue their political ambitions.
Henry Ikechukwu Ikoh of Abia State, Umana Okon Umana of Akwa Ibom State, Odum Odih of Rivers State, and Ademola Adewole Adegoroye of Ondo State are among those who have taken the oath of office.
Others are Egwumakama Joseph Nkama of Ebonyi State, Goodluck Nnana Opiah of Imo State, and Umar Ibrahim El-Yakub of Kano State.
Additionally, those present observed a moment of silence in honor of the late Mohammed Barkindo, Secretary-General of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), who passed away on Tuesday.
