EPIC FILM ‘ANIKULAPO’ DIRECTED BY KUNLE AFOLAYAN DEBUTS OFFICIAL TRAILER ON NETFLIX

The film will start streaming on Netflix on September 30.
With the publication of its official trailer, the anticipation for “Anikulapo,” a Netflix and KAP Motion Pictures collaboration, has officially begun.
In the Kunle Afolayan-directed film “Anikulapo,” a young man’s search for better opportunities in the historic Oyo empire will be roughly portrayed.
Fans of the director can expect a nice dose of drama, intrigue, and romance from the exciting new trailer.
Kunle Remi plays Saro, the main character, while other supporting actors include Sola Sobowale, Bimbo Ademoye, Hakeem Kae-Kazim, Taiwo ‘Ogogo’ Hassan, and Aisha Lawal.
The movie’s premiere was announced at an event recently organized by Netflix to introduce a new batch of African titles
Principal photography for the film, directed by Jonathan Kovel and shot at the recently opened Kap Resort in Oyo state, was announced in February.
The director promised to enthrall moviegoers with a plot that explored themes similar to those in HBO’s popular series “Game of Thrones,” but with a representation of the Yoruba culture.
