TINUBU CELEBRATES SHETTIMA AT 60, DESCRIBES HIM AS PATRIOT AND TRUSTED ALLY

President Bola Tinubu has congratulated Vice President Kashim Shettima on his 60th birthday, describing him as a patriot, trusted ally and dedicated public servant.
In a statement issued on Tuesday ahead of Shettima’s birthday on Wednesday, Tinubu, alongside First Lady Oluremi Tinubu, celebrated the Vice President’s milestone and extended their goodwill to his wife, Nana, children, family members and political associates.
The President praised Shettima’s years of service to Borno State and Nigeria, including his tenure as governor and his current role as Vice President.
Tinubu said Shettima had demonstrated courage, diligence, compassion and commitment to improving the lives of Nigerians throughout his public service career.
He also commended the Vice President for his loyalty to the All Progressives Congress (APC), support for the administration and dedication to the success of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
According to Tinubu, Shettima’s leadership of the National Economic Council has contributed significantly to coordinating economic policies and strengthening collaboration between the Federal Government and sub-national governments.
The President further praised his respect for constitutional governance, democratic institutions, dialogue and consultation, saying these qualities had contributed to strengthening good governance.
Tinubu described Shettima as a trusted partner whose loyalty, wisdom and sense of duty had remained valuable to his administration.
He thanked the Vice President for his partnership in advancing the administration’s programmes and expressed confidence that their continued collaboration would help deliver meaningful progress for Nigerians.
The President prayed that Almighty Allah would continue to guide, protect and strengthen Shettima, while granting him wisdom, good health and many more years of purposeful service to the country.
In a separate birthday message, First Lady Oluremi Tinubu also congratulated Shettima on attaining the age of 60.
She described him as a Vice President who had demonstrated strength, loyalty, commitment and love for Nigeria.
Oluremi also acknowledged Shettima’s achievements as a banker, senator and former governor of Borno State, praying for continued divine health, peace, joy and happiness for him.
