Trump made the remarks on Friday as the country prepared to commemorate its 250th anniversary of independence, describing the milestone as one of the most remarkable moments in global history.
According to him, the anniversary marks 250 years of American freedom and independence, a legacy he said is unmatched by any other nation.

“Today, we celebrate 250 years of glorious independence and 250 years of extraordinary American freedom. There is nothing quite like it. In all of history, no nation has ever achieved or celebrated a triumph as magnificent as the one we are witnessing today.
“At 250 years old, America is the oldest republic on earth. We are the freest people on earth. We possess the most enduring and righteous constitution, and we are the strongest and most powerful nation in the world.
“By the grace of God, the United States of America is the most successful, accomplished and exceptional nation in human history. It is an honour to serve as your president,” Trump said.
