TRUMP DECLINES TO ATTEND SON’S WEDDING, CITES OFFICIAL DUTIES
Agency Report

United States President Donald Trump has announced that he will not attend the wedding of his son, Donald Trump Jr., citing official government responsibilities and ongoing affairs of state.
Trump made the announcement in a post shared on his Truth Social account on Friday, explaining that current demands of governance at the White House would prevent his attendance at the ceremony involving Donald Trump Jr. and his fiancée, Bettina Anderson.
According to the U.S. President, the present period requires his full attention to national duties.
“While I very much wanted to be with my son, Don Jr., and the newest member of the Trump family, his soon-to-be wife, Bettina, circumstances pertaining to government, and my love for the United States of America, do not allow me to do so,” Trump wrote.
He described the moment as a significant period for the country and extended his congratulations to the couple ahead of their wedding.
