Nigeria forward Kelechi Iheanacho was left out of the Manchester City squad that thrashed West Ham 4-0 in a Premier League clash at the Olympic Stadium on Wednesday night.
It was the third consecutive game the Super Eagles forward has misseded for the Citizens.
Iheanacho last featured for Manchester City in the club’s 4-0 defeat away to Everton. He has scored four goals in 15 English Premier League appearances this term.
Goals from Kevin De Bruyne, David Silva, Gabriel Jesus and Yaya Toure from the penalty spot earned Manchester City their 14th win of the campaign and closed up the gap on leaders Chelsea to ten points.
