National Universities Commission budgets 8million for research, 9.7million for generator servicing and 85million for cars
Nigeria’s tertiary education regulatory body, National Universities Commission has proposed a budget expenditure of N4,122,549,530 for the year 2018 out of which N1,434,223,306 is to be spent on salaries.
Other expenditures include 8million for research, N9,739,246 on generator maintenance at the secretariat, N3,357,885 on the maintenance of office furniture, N60,075,664 for maintenance of office buildings and residential quarters and N85,351,433 for the “purchase of motor vehicles.” Budgetary provisions were also made for the replacement of central inverters and the resurfacing of the commission’s car park.
