Court stops Tonto Dikeh from including son on reality show
Tonto Dikeh’s ex-husband, Churchill Oladunni has been able to get a court injunction to stop her reality show from showing their son, King.
This might not be happy times for Tonto Dikeh as a court has refrained the actress and LindaIkeji TV from airing and showing her son, King on her reality show.
The court injunction was given by a Lagos State Magistrate Court which sat on Wednesday, January 31st, 2018. According to the court, it issued an order of injunction
“restraining Ms Tonto Dikeh and Linda Ikeji Media from airing, showing, disseminating or broadcasting, either through television, blogs or the Internet the person, name, Face, image, likeness or picture of King Andrea Omodayo Igo Churchill in the King Tonto Reality TV Show produced by Linda Ikeji Media pending the hearing of the originating motion in the suit.”
This follows a suit filed by Churchill Oladunni in January 2018 at the family court stopping his son, King from featuring in her reality show. In his application, Churchill Oladunni wants to protect his son’s image and which he feels is being exploited for financial gains.
“Such reality show exposes the life and times of the 1st Applicant, who is a minor, at a time when he cannot make a decision for himself, this exposure is prejudicial to his growth and welfare of his son, the 1st Applicant” reads the court document.
Late 2017, the trailer from Tonto Dikeh’s soon to be released reality T.V. show, “King Tonto” was dropped. In the teaser, Tonto Dikeh is seen with her son, carrying on with her routine life
A major highlight of the reality show teaser, was when she revealed that she went under the knife to get a cosmetic surgery.
