Read Time:1 Minute, 35 Second

Ghanaian Reggae/Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale born Charles Nii Armah Mensah was reported to have beaten his girlfriend Michelle Diamond who is famously known as Shatta Michy.
The two have since taken to social media to express their pain. It all started when Shatta Michy posted a photo on facebook and on the photo Shatta Michy was seen with a bruised forehead which indicated that he was beaten by boyfriend, Shatta Wale. She branded Shatta Wale as unappreciative and hypocrite. She added that Shatta wale always beats her and later apologize.
Some industry players and fans of Shatta Michy criticized Shatta Wale for beating baby Mama and some advised Shatta Michy to report the incident to DOVVSU( Domestic Violence and Victim Support Unit ).
Shatta Wale in a rebuttal post on facebook wrote: “When a woman chase you with a Knife ..DAWG AM …..!!!!!! Boys be wise ….Am done … The wise will understand!!!!!!!!”
Shatta Wale later wrote on his facebook page ” 419? and released a song bearing same title .
This left social media users in total confusion as they could not tell if the fight between Shatta wale and baby mama was for a publicity stunt or not. It can be recalled few months back that Shatta wale and Shatta Michy faked a break up for publicity stunt just to promote Shatta Michy’s hit single title ‘ cheating Rules’ .
Browngh.com, aside breaking this news, sighted the official trailer for the movie which premieres in May in Accra and Kumasi on Shatta Wale’s official Instagram page.
It seems the whole brouhaha was all publicity stunt to promote upcoming movie dubbed ” Kejetia Vs. Makola: The Trial of Shatta Wale”. Well time will tell if the brouhaha is ‘ reality or hype’
