The Desert Warriors of Algeria have never lost to Senegal in the African Cup Of Nations and this Thursday night, they maintained their unbeaten run after they defeated the Terranga Lions by 1-nil to qualify for the knockout stage.
41 minute goal by no 8, Youceff Belaili ensured the Algerians broke the jinx of not being able to scale through to the knockout stage since 2013.
Senegal also had several clear goal scoring chances but faile to bury them in. They will now have to win their final group game against Kenya who face Tanzania tonight.
