Liverpool have been drawn to face defending champions, Real Madrid in a repeat of last season’s final which the Spanish side
Despite winning their group, Tottenham and Chelsea have been given challenging tasks, facing AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund, respectively.
The first round of the knockout round will see Manchester City face the German team RB Leipzig, which appears to be a favourable draw for Pep Guardiola’s team.
Elsewhere, one of Bayern Munich or Paris Saint-Germain won’t make it to the quarter-finals as they were paired together.
It’s a fantastic draw for the so-called underdog teams because one of Frankfurt or Napoli, Club Brugge, or Benfica will advance to the round of eight.
The first legs of the last-16 games will be played on the midweeks of February 14-15, and February 21-22 2023.
The second legs will be played across March 7-8 and March 14-15.
