FRSC CONFIRMS FIVE DEAD, ONE WOUNDED IN FATAL AUTO CRASH
Five individuals have been declared dead by the Federal Roads Safety Corps (FRSC) Ogun State Sector following a deadly crash that occurred early on Sunday.
According to the report, two automobiles were involved in the collision, which left one person hurt while two others escaped unharmed.
In a statement, the sector’s Route Commander and Public Education Officer, Florence Okpe, stated that the Honda car’s speed and careless overtaking were the likely reasons for the disaster, which resulted in a side-on collision with the truck.
She said that the wounded victim was brought to the General Hospital in Ijebu-ode and that the hospital mortuary was where the dead were placed.
According to Anthony Uga, the Sector Commander of the Federal Roads Safety Corps Ogun Sector Command, the collision was preventable with proper precautions.
Additionally, he counselled drivers to use the crossroads or the appropriate turning point rather than making hurried turns on the motorway. Uga expressed her condolences to the deceased’s families and suggested that they get in touch with the FRSC Ijebu-ode Command to learn more about the collision.
