The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has announced the opening of applications for its Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC) Course 34/2025.

In a statement shared via its official X handle on Tuesday, the NAF invited qualified Nigerians across diverse professions—including engineering, medical, and cyber specialties—to apply, reflecting the force’s focus on modern warfare needs.
Applications are free and must be submitted online between August 27 and October 7, 2025, through the official NAF recruitment portal: https://nafrecruitment.airforce.mil.ng.
Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must be Nigerian citizens by birth.

Age range: 20–32 years (Medical Doctors/Consultants: 25–40 years).

Height: Minimum of 1.66m (male) and 1.63m (female).

Must be medically, physically, and psychologically fit, with no criminal conviction.

Academic qualification: Minimum of Second Class Upper Division, plus NYSC Discharge Certificate or Exemption Letter.

Serving personnel must have at least 10 years in service, be recommended by their Commanding Officer/Commander, and have attained the rank of Corporal. This exercise is not for personnel seeking Branch Commission.
The NAF stated that a Zonal General Aptitude Test will be conducted on a date to be announced via the recruitment portal. Only successful candidates will be shortlisted for the Selection Interview.
