Pop icon Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce are officially engaged, the couple confirmed on Tuesday via Instagram.
Photos shared on Swift’s page showed Kelce on one knee in a lush garden, with the caption: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”
According to TMZ, the engagement ring is an old mine-cut brilliant crafted by designer Kindred Lubeck.
Swift and Kelce made their relationship public in late 2023 and have since become one of the world’s most talked-about celebrity couples, regularly spotted together at NFL games, award shows, and major events.
The engagement crowns a remarkable year for both stars Swift recently concluded her record-breaking Eras Tour, while Kelce shone with the Chiefs through the 2023 and 2024 NFL seasons.
Adding to the excitement, Swift also announced her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, now available for pre-order and expected to ship before October 13. The announcement was teased with blurred visuals on her website and highlighted in a video aired on the New Heights podcast, co-hosted by Kelce and his brother, Jason.
