UPDATED: PANIC AS ABUJA-KADUNA TRAIN GOES OFF TRACK

It was reported that the event transpired along the Kaduna corridor shortly after the train left Abuja around 11 a.m., heading to Kaduna.
A traveler on the train depicted the situation as disorderly, with individuals hastily seeking safety amid panic and disarray.
The cause of the derailment remained uncertain, and there has been no official verification of injuries or fatalities.
Security sources indicate that armed forces have been dispatched to the location to aid in the evacuation of trapped passengers.
The management of the Nigerian Railway Corporation hasn’t spoken on the incident.

It will be recalled that the Kaduna–Abuja rail line is one of Nigeria’s most active rail corridors, used daily by hundreds of commuters.
The rail route has faced repeated disruptions over the years, including the March 2022 terrorist attack, which left several dead and many abducted.
