An Islamic organisation, 1-Ummah is currently hosting its 2025 Peace and Unity Convention at the Oriental Hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos, drawing a large crowd of Muslim scholars, youth leaders, professionals and community members for two days of intense learning, reflection and spiritual engagement.
The convention, which runs from November 15 to 16, is themed “Beyond Belief: The Role of Knowledge in Building Faith and Empowering Lives.”
The sessions are exploring how knowledge deepens faith, shapes character and equips Muslims to respond to the moral and social challenges of modern society.
Speakers at the event are emphasising that informed understanding remains central to strengthening the Muslim identity and promoting responsible, values-driven living.
Many attendees describe the gathering as both intellectually stimulating and spiritually uplifting, noting that the programme offers fresh insights into how learning and faith complement each other.
1-Ummah has earned recognition for its commitment to Islamic education, humanitarian outreach and community development.
