Controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has stirred another wave of drama after publicly calling out music executive and rapper Olamide over what he described as a lack of recognition.

In a viral video shared during the week, Portable questioned why he was not invited to perform at Olamide’s recent OVO Wembley Arena show in London.

Portable argued that Olamide’s global visibility is tied to their hit collaboration Zazoo, insisting that the rapper has distanced himself despite the song’s massive success.

“Olamide didn’t even shoot the Zazoo video with me; he didn’t stand beside me in the visuals. I’m the one who gave Olamide international recognition. Zazoo made Olamide. Did I sleep with his wife? Why didn’t he call me for his show?” Portable said.

He went on to compare Olamide’s attitude to him with Davido’s, adding, “Davido wanted to give me a verse. He told me I’m the best among the rest in the whole world. Davido loves me, and he’s proud of me.”

Portable further insisted that his relationship with Olamide deteriorated without any wrongdoing on his part.

“Olamide and I both sang Zazoo. I didn’t offend him, yet he stopped replying to my messages. He refused to take me to London. Skepta and I also sang Tony Montana, and he invited me to London. Tell Olamide to reply to me so he won’t regret it in the future.”

This is not the first time Portable has made such claims.

In November 2024, during a TikTok live session, he argued that while Olamide supported him, the rapper did not make him famous.

“Is it Olamide that posted me and made me famous? He’s my helper, yes, but I was already famous before he helped me,” he said.

“These are two different things. He didn’t meet me suffering. Everyone wanted to mingle with me at the time, and it even caused issues. Since the time Olamide helped me, has he ever posted me on his story?”

Meanwhile, Olamide has maintained silence, focusing on the spotlight from his recently sold-out OVO Arena concert, where several moments went viral due to the rapper’s energetic stage presence.

During the show, he appeared to address critics who claim he has lost relevance.

In the middle of his performance—while the crowd sang along to some of his hit songs, including “Stupid Love” from 2018, he remarked, “And they said I don’t have fans anymore…”
