APC CHAIR PROJECTS STRONG SUPPORT FOR TINUBU IN PLATEAU, EXPECTS OVER ONE MILLION VOTES

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, has said Plateau State is poised to give President Bola Tinubu one million votes in the 2027 general elections.
Speaking at an APC stakeholders’ meeting for the Pankshin, Kanke, and Kanam (PKK) Federal Constituency on Tuesday, Yilwatda cited the party’s growing dominance and the collapse of opposition structures in the state.
He noted that political forces that opposed the APC in 2023—including the state governor, commissioners, and local government chairmen—have now aligned with the party, reinforcing its strength in the state. Yilwatda added that PKK, a traditional APC stronghold, delivered some of Tinubu’s highest votes in the 2023 presidential election.
