REGINA DANIELS’ FRIEND ANN ALLEGEDLY ARRESTED OVER THEFT CLAIMS

Nigerian billionaire businessman and politician, Senator Ned Nwoko, has reportedly been linked to the arrest of Ann, a close friend of his estranged wife, actress Regina Daniels.

Ann was said to have been arrested in Lagos on Monday by operatives of the Ajah Police Division.

The arrest was disclosed by Regina Daniels’ elder brother, Sammy, who shared a video of the incident on Instagram. According to him, the police arrived with a court order authorising Ann’s detention over allegations of conspiracy, assault, and theft.

Sammy, however, denied the allegations, insisting that Ann had never visited the senator’s residence. He questioned the basis of the arrest and criticised the actions of the police and the judiciary.

“There was no time Ann was ever at Ned’s house. So how is there a court order to detain her for conspiracy and theft? Nigeria has failed us,” he wrote.

The arrest follows a series of actions involving Regina Daniels’ relatives and associates, which reportedly began about two months ago after the actress publicly accused the senator of abuse and domestic violence.
