ACTOR SARAH MARTINS COLLAPSES DURING WORK, HOSPITALISED

Nollywood actress Sarah Martins was rushed to the hospital on Monday after collapsing while conducting a routine inventory at one of her stores, according to a post she shared on her Instagram page.

In the post, accompanied by photos from her hospital bed, Martins explained that she had woken up feeling unusually unwell.

“Woke up today and couldn’t feel any part of my body…for a second I felt lifeless. I still struggled and went to my stores for inventory and a few interviews for incoming employees, and that was when I slumped,” she wrote.

The actress attributed the health scare to an intense period of continuous work throughout December. “All through December, I worked every single day, and even when my staff traveled for the season’s celebrations, I still kept working. No days off, no breaks…just a walking corpse working tirelessly to cater for others, forgetting myself,” she added.

Martins later shared a positive update on her medical tests, revealing that more than 32 tests—including for cancer, fibroid, liver and kidney function, malaria, and typhoid—came back negative. She expressed gratitude and faith in her recovery.

“I am typing this from a sick bed, but I will be fine because the God that protects the vulnerable kids I struggle for will never fail me. That said, I’m extremely exhausted and need proper bed rest. Thank you, Heavenly Father, for your constant protection,” she said.

Her post has prompted an outpouring of support and well-wishes from fans and colleagues across the entertainment industry.
