Popular Nigerian rapper Okafor Victor, professionally known as Mr Real, has retracted his earlier remarks concerning D’banj’s CREAM platform.

Reports show that in November 2025 in an interview, D’banj stated that his Creative Reality Entertainment Art & Music platform (CREAM) is valued at $3 billion.

In response, Mr Real, in a video shared on social media, alleged that D’banj was merely “packaging” the CREAM platform and accused him of failing to honour a previously agreed N20 million ambassadorial deal.

In a recent development, however, Mr Real posted a video on Instagram on Monday, publicly apologizing to D’banj and retracting his earlier statements.

He said: “Hello everyone, this is an apology video to my boss, D’banj. I know many of you have seen the issues between me, D’banj, and the CREAM platform. I misunderstood and misinterpreted some aspects concerning CREAM, and I want to sincerely apologize.

“To D’banj, you have played a significant role in my career. I regret the tone and public nature of my previous comments. I hold D’banj in the highest regard and apologize for how the situation was handled. I have withdrawn my comments and will refrain from making further public statements while cooperating to resolve this matter amicably.”

Mr Real’s apology followed a petition reportedly filed against him by D’banj through his legal representatives
