Leaders of the All Progressives Party, APC, on Wednesday held a roundtable in Abuja to strengthen party unity and push for President Bola Tinubu’s second term.

Executive Chairman of the Presidential Compressed Natural Gas Initiative, PCNGi, Ismael Ahmed, convened the Progressives Strategy Roundtable at the Shehu Musa Yar’adua Centre in Abuja.

The high-level meeting brought together federal ministers, heads of key government agencies, and prominent stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress, APC, from across the country.

According to a statement issued by Ahmed, the meeting centered on three main objectives: strengthening party unity, evaluating the achievements of the current administration, and developing strategic plans to secure a successful second term for President Bola Tinubu.

A notable aspect of the discussions was the emphasis on the responsibilities of political appointees.

Ahmed highlighted that every appointee acts as an ambassador of the administration, accountable both to the government and to the Nigerian citizens who entrusted it with the mandate.

He cautioned that weakening ties with the grassroots could undermine the President’s vision and urged participants to prioritize active public engagement.

“Now is the time for us to reinforce public trust through impactful policies and strategic coordination. This approach will lay the foundation for sustained progress as we approach the next electoral cycle,” Ahmed stated.
