Businessman and entertainer Emeka Okonkwo, popularly known as E-Money, expressed disappointment after streamer Carter Efe damaged a car he had gifted him, describing the act as unnecessary and excessive.
The incident occurred during a livestream stunt on Saturday featuring Carter Efe and fellow content creator Peller, in which the vehicle was wrecked. E-Money addressed the matter on Sunday when both streamers visited him.
In a video from the visit, E-Money said he was upset that the car, given as a gesture of appreciation, was destroyed in less than 24 hours. He emphasized that the gift was meant to acknowledge Carter Efe’s creativity and contributions.
“To be honest, I wasn’t happy about you guys destroying the car I gifted Carter Efe in less than 24 hours. I gave you the car because I appreciate what you’re doing,” he said.
He also criticised the decision to carry out the destruction during a livestream, noting that it could influence the many viewers watching.
“You went overboard by destroying the car. Many people were watching. The mistake has already been made, and I forgive you, but it should not happen again,” E-Money added.
The incident has since sparked online discussions, following reports that Peller and Carter Efe had damaged each other’s vehicles during the broadcast.
