ATIKU REACTS TO ALLEGED ASSASSINATION ATTEMPT ON PETER OBI, OTHER ADC LEADERS IN EDO STATE

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has strongly denounced the alleged assassination attempt on former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi and other leaders of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Edo State.
The media previously reported that Obi and several ADC leaders were attacked during the formal defection of Olumide Akpata to the ADC in Benin City.
According to reports, Obi’s convoy was sprayed with bullets in what has been described as an unprovoked assault.
