Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, and the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Akeem Owoade, have extended heartfelt congratulations to President Bola Tinubu on his 74th birthday, describing him as a transformative leader whose enduring political legacy continues to shape Nigeria’s development.
In a statement released through his Special Adviser on Media, Yinka Oyebode, Governor Oyebanji praised President Tinubu as a genuine people’s leader, a trailblazer, and a selfless public servant dedicated to the nation’s sustainable growth.

He commended the President for his lifelong commitment to defending democracy and serving the country in multiple capacities, noting that this devotion has often involved significant personal sacrifice.
“President Tinubu is a man of history, with numerous remarkable achievements as a corporate professional, boardroom strategist, astute politician, pro-democracy activist, and the driving force behind the movement that restored democratic rule in Nigeria,” the governor stated.
Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, has described President Bola Tinubu as an extraordinary gift and a treasure to the nation, noting that his impact spans both subnational and national levels.
“Tinubu’s footprints are bold, from his tenure as a Senator in the Third Republic, through two terms as Governor of Lagos State, to his current role as President and Commander-in-Chief of the Federal Republic, where he continues to lead and inspire citizens with courage and transformative policies,” Oyebanji said.
The governor also expressed gratitude for the President’s support and the positive influence of his policies on Ekiti State and its people.
“On behalf of the government and good people of Ekiti State, I wish President Tinubu a happy 74th birthday and a lifetime of happiness. The people of Ekiti remain appreciative of his development initiatives and are fully supportive of the reforms that have improved lives across the state,” he added.
“Our prayer is that God Almighty continues to guide President Tinubu’s decisions as he steers the nation toward greatness and inclusive prosperity.”
The Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Akeem Owoade, has described President Bola Tinubu as a defining political figure whose story embodies resilience, vision, and enduring influence.
In a congratulatory message released through his Director of Media and Publicity, Bode Durojaiye, the monarch praised the President for building a lasting political structure in Nigeria’s Fourth Republic.
He stated, “Tinubu is not flawless, and he may not be universally loved. But his political journey is a phenomenon worth studying. In a democracy where many fade after a single term, he has remained relevant for over 25 years. That endurance is no accident—it demonstrates that leadership paired with vision and structure can withstand challenges.”
The monarch added, “In contemporary Nigerian history, President Tinubu is recognised for his resilience, political acumen, and commitment to national transformation. His story is not just political history; it is a study in structure, loyalty, and perseverance. While many political figures rise and fall quickly, Tinubu has remained a constant—a builder whose network and influence have outlasted terms, quarrels, and federal pressures.”
Oba Owoade also commended Tinubu’s achievements as a former Senator and two-term Governor of Lagos State, as well as his current efforts as President, noting that his reforms promoting economic stability and infrastructure development are particularly commendable.
Owoade added, “President Tinubu is an audacious and visionary leader, widely recognised as a statesman committed to democracy. From his activism against military rule to his current role as President, he has consistently championed democratic ideals.
“As he celebrates this milestone, his ‘Renewed Hope Agenda’ is set to redefine Nigeria’s global standing and guide the nation toward sustained prosperity.”
