Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham has denied reports linking her to the alleged re-arrest of X influencer Big Ayo, describing the claims as false and urging the public to disregard them.
The rumour, which spread online, alleged that the actress was responsible for another arrest involving the influencer following their 2024 dispute. Abraham, however, swiftly refuted the claim, stating she had no role in any such action.
“Arrest Ayo as how, pls this is fake and false news. I’m on set filming. Pls kindly disregard. I didn’t get Ayo or anyone arrested; it’s all love from me,” she said.
The allegation was traced to a now-deleted post by an X user identified as Khan, who claimed the influencer had been re-arrested at Abraham’s instance.

As speculation grew, a statement issued on X by Prince Adeshina on Tuesday night on behalf of the actress dismissed the report.
“For the attention of the general public: Toyin Abraham was at a movie location and did not arrest Ayo,” the statement read.
“We urge the general public to treat the circulating report as fake news. Furthermore, the author of the report has been put on notice and will be required to provide evidence to support his claims.”
In a later update, Adeshina confirmed that Big Ayo had indeed been arrested, but clarified that it was carried out on the instructions of a private individual he allegedly defamed—not at Abraham’s request.
Abraham subsequently reposted both statements on X, further distancing herself from the controversy.
