YUL EDOCHIE’S REMARKS ON MARRIAGE AND RESPECT IGNITE CONTROVERSY

Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has advised men on how to deal with disrespect in marriage.
In a post shared on X on Wednesday, he described respect as a fundamental right for men in relationships and urged them not to tolerate disrespectful partners, stressing that their dignity should never be compromised.
Advising men facing disrespect in their relationships, he urged them to seek partners who value them and to walk away from such marriages.
“Men, stop putting up with nonsense in the name of marriage or relationships. If your wife or girlfriend doesn’t respect you, leave immediately and find someone who does,” he said.
The actor’s cryptic post triggered reactions, particularly concerning his relationship with his estranged wife, May Edochie.
The MEDIA recalls that in April 2022, Yul publicly introduced actress Judy Austin as his second wife while still legally married to May.
In 2023, May, who accused him of bigamy, filed for divorce on grounds of adultery and also demanded N100 million in damages from Judy.
