Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has declared Senator Aliyu Wadada as his preferred candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the governorship race.
Sule made the disclosure during a meeting with political appointees at the Nasarawa State Government House.
The announcement comes as preparations for the 2027 general elections gather momentum.
The MEDIA reports that Wadada, who represents Nasarawa West in the 10th Senate, recently left the SDP for the APC to contest the governorship election.
