Aisha Yesufu, a chieftain of the African Democratic Congress, has said the growing alliance among opposition figures is causing concern for President Bola Tinubu.
In a post shared on her X account on Tuesday, the socio-political activist claimed that the President and his allies are increasingly worried about the 2027 presidential election.
She also suggested that the ruling All Progressives Congress did not anticipate the level of political alignment now taking shape within the ADC.
According to her, “Mr Tinubu and his people are very scared—more than they were in 2022. The alignment that has happened and is still happening is one they never envisioned. So, they will do everything they can to discourage you. Ignore them and do your thing.”
