COPPA ITALIA: DELE-BASHIRU TARGETS HISTORIC ACHIEVEMENT WITH LAZIO

Fisayo Dele-Bashiru is set to chase history as he looks to become the fifth Nigerian player to win the Coppa Italia when Lazio face Inter Milan in next month’s final.
Lazio, managed by Maurizio Sarri, booked their place in the final after defeating Atalanta on penalties on Wednesday.
Former Inter Milan forward Obafemi Martins was the first Nigerian to win the prestigious trophy.
Martins was subsequently joined on the select list by Joel Obi, Ogenyi Onazi, and Ebenezer Akinsanmiro.
Dele-Bashiru will also be aiming to win his first trophy since joining Lazio two years ago from Turkish Super Lig side Hatayspor.
The Coppa Italia final is scheduled to take place at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome on May 13.
