POLICE ARREST 11 SUSPECTED CULTISTS IN LAGOS HOTEL
The Lagos State Police Command arrested 11 suspected cultists at a hotel in the Agege area of the state on Wednesday.
The arrest was carried out by men of the Rapid Response Squad, who were on patrol in the early hours of the morning.
According to the statement on the RRS Twitter page, the arrested suspects were members of rival cult groups involved in a violent clash at the hotel.
Four of the suspected cultists were “viciously injured” with broken bottles during the clash.
Following the arrest, the suspects were transferred to Oko Oba, Agege Police Division, in line with the directive of the RRS Commander, Olayinka Egbeyemi.
