SECURITY: MNJTF SUCCESSFULLY CLEAR REMNANTS OF BOKO HARAM TERRORISTS AT DUGUSHEWA VILLAGE
A proactive fighting patrol was carried out by Sector 3 Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF) soldiers stationed at Magumeri, Nigeria, to rid the area of any Boko Haram terrorist relics. One Boko Haram terrorist was killed during this effective operation, which also recovered a sizable amount of weapons and ammunition and made a substantial contribution to promoting peace and stability in the region.
The military fought a group of Boko Haram terrorists at Dugushewa Village throughout the operation, fiercely pursuing them as they made an attempt to flee. One Boko Haram insurgent was slain thanks to the valiant efforts of our troops.
Among other things, the retrieved materials included an AK-47 rifle, four rounds of 7.62mm (Special) ammunition, and a magazine. The militants’ ability to carry out additional acts of terrorism and mayhem has been severely hindered by this significant seizure.
The fact that this patrol was successful is a credit to the Sector 3 troops’ unwavering devotion and dedication to their work. Their accuracy, bravery, and professionalism have once again shown that the MNJTF is capable of upholding regional peace and security.
The MNJTF Force Commander, Maj. Gen. Ibrahim Sallau Ali, thanked the Sector 3 troops for their act of bravery and expressed his gratitude to the locals for their ongoing help and support. Together, we will defeat terrorism and create a future for our countries that is more promising and secure.
