
JUST IN: FUBARA SWEARS IN 16 NEW PERMANENT SECRETARIES
At the Executive Council Chambers of Government House in Port Harcourt on Tuesday, Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara administered the oath of office to sixteen new permanent secretaries.
The governor, who stated that the state government is concentrated on enhancing the welfare and security of the people, charged them with being resolute and diligent in their tasks to assist his administration in keeping its promise.
Fubara challenged the permanent secretaries to hold their ground in the face of any wrongdoing in their ministries, promising to always stand on the right side, noting that they are an essential element of the team to deliver on the missions.
The newly sworn-in permanent secretaries were also presented with official cars immediately after the ceremony.
