GWO GWO GWO NGWO: BRAINJOTTER CALLED OUT BY TWITTER USER FOR USING MIKE EJEAGHA SONG WITHOUT PERMISSION
A Nigerian lawyer has shared an unpopular opinion on his Twitter after content creator, Brain Jotter made Mike Ejeagha’s 1983 song go viral on social media.
The Nigerian lawyer with username @Egi_nupe_ on X.com asked the singer to sue Brain Jotter for using his song without permission
He wrote: “I hope the man has a good lawyer you can’t use someone’s song for content raking millions and offer to give the man “2million” as if you are helping the man”
Recall that the Nigerian music legend, Gentleman Mike Ejeagha’s song took over social media by storm as his timeless highlife song, “Gwo Gwo Gwo Ngwo” sparked a viral dance challenge among content creators and celebrities.
The dance moves appear to have become a challenge, with many people creating versions of it after popular comedian and content creator, Brain Jotter, pioneered the challenge.
The decades-old song has experienced a remarkable resurgence on TikTok and other social media platforms.
