An unidentified driver was confirmed dead on Tuesday following a fatal crash on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
According to reports, the deadly crash occurred around 3:20 PM near the Forte Filling Station on the Sagamu stretch of the motorway, and injured at least three people to varied degrees.
According to state police spokesperson Omolola Odutola, the accident involved a granite-loaded truck with number plate FKJ760XM and a Toyota with registration number JJJ926YJ.
She claimed that both vehicles were driving from Ibadan to Lagos when the Toyota driver lost control and slammed with the truck.
