MANAGEMENT: UNIBEN FEMALE HOSTEL DONATED BY DAISY DANJUMA
The University of Benin’s management announced on Friday that Daisy Danjuma (née Ehanire) donated the female dormitories to the institution on Tuesday.

The statement read, “It has become expedient to set the record straight with regard to the donation of hostels to the University of Benin by General Theophilus Danjuma and Senator Daisy Ehanire- Danjuma.
“Against the misrepresentation of facts in sections of the media, the first hostel was graciously donated by the elder statesman, while the second and third hostels (one commissioned a few days ago and the other, on-going) are free–will donations by Senator Daisy-Ehanire Danjuma.
“Senator Danjuma is renowned for her passion for girl-child education and development which has prompted her gestures.
