ONDO POLICE ARREST DRIVER WHO KILLED TWO STUDENTS IN FATAL ACCIDENT
On Thursday, the Ondo State Police Command arrested a driver (identity unknown) for killing two students of the Federal Polytechnic, Ile-Oluji, in an accident.
The fatal accident occurred along the Akure-Ondo Expressway on Wednesday evening.
The victims, Chukwu Athanasius and Oladokun Oyindamola, were on a motorcycle when they were hit by a speeding Toyota Camry. They died at the scene.
Confirming the driver arrest, the Police Public Relations Officer, Mrs. Funmilayo Odunlami, stated that the suspect is now in police custody. The bodies of the deceased have been taken to a morgue.
She said, “The bodies of the victims have been deposited at the morgue, and the driver of the vehicle is now in police custody.”
