Regina Daniels, an actress, has responded to criticism of her earlier claim that she had several boyfriends prior to marrying Ned Nwoko.
She clarified on Instagram that her previous relationships were platonic rather than physical.
Daniels caused controversy when she said that, prior to meeting her husband, she had 20 boyfriends who helped her with necessities.
However, she emphasised that she married Nwoko as a virgin, contrary to speculation.
She claims that she aimed to teach young girls the importance of setting limits in relationships and emphasizing that having male friends who are eager to support them does not physically compel them.
She wrote on Instagram: “Hey everyone I want to clarify the 20 boyfriends solely to soothe my husband and also educate young girls that having several male/boy friends willing to do things for you doesn’t mean you owe them your body. And oh yes. I did have a lot but I made a promise to keep my virginity till my marriage. And guess what? I did!!!. It’s a big flex.
