AYRA STARR OVERTAKES YEMI ALADE AS MOST VIEWED NIGERIAN FEMALE ARTISTE ON YOUTUBE
Ayra Starr has now surpassed Yemi Alade as the most-viewed Nigerian female artiste of all time on YouTube.
After reaching 811 million views on the platform, the 22-year-old surpassed Alade (805 million views).
With over 395 million views, Starr’s smash song “Rush” has the most views of any video on the platform.
‘Rush’ is also the most-viewed music video by a female Nigerian artist on YouTube; a record formerly held by Yemi Alade’s ‘Johnny.’
With 2.41 million members, Yemi Alade continues to hold the title of female Nigerian artist with the most followers on the platform.
With 2.26 million subscribers, Ayra Starr comes in second.
