WORLD NEWS: STUDENT STABS CLASSMATE TO DEATH IN FRANCE

According to a police source, a student killed one classmate and injured three others during a stabbing spree at a private high school in northwest France on Thursday before being taken into custody.
Around 12:30 pm (1030 GMT), the attacker used a knife to stab classmates at the Notre-Dame de Toutes-Aides secondary school in Nantes before being subdued by the teachers.
Interior Minister Bruno Retailleau and French Education Minister Elisabeth Borne agreed to travel to Nantes.
“A knife attack took place at lunchtime today at a private school in Nantes. I am travelling to the scene with @BrunoRetailleau to express my solidarity with the victims and my support for the educational community,” Borne said on X.
