“THEY SAW HIS STRENGTH AND WANT TO BREAK HIM. THE OPPRESSION OF IGBOS WILL NEVER STOP” – CUBANA CHIEF PRIEST BACKS E-MONEY AFTER ALLEGED ARREST
Nigerian socialite Cubana Chief Priest has expressed solidarity with businessman Emeka Okonkwo, popularly known as E-Money, following reports of his alleged arrest by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
E-Money was reportedly arrested on the night of Monday, April 25th, at his residence in the Omole area of Lagos over alleged naira abuse. Sources within the EFCC claimed that he was taken into custody for allegedly spraying United States dollars, which is considered a violation of the Foreign Exchange Act.
In a show of support, Cubana Chief Priest highlighted E-Money’s recent contributions, especially his efforts in promoting the Southeast through a homecoming concert during the Easter holiday. He suggested that E-Money’s influence had made him a target, and accused authorities of attempting to break his will in order to force him into submission.
Cubana further stated that the oppression of the Igbo people would not stop them from progressing. He affirmed that they would continue to grow stronger, produce more billionaires, and remain steadfast in voting for their preferred candidates.
Addressing E-Money directly, he reminded him that he had faced similar challenges in the past and reassured him that he would come out stronger, just like their Rolls Royce.
“This Is A Guy Who Just Did Everything To Push Up Southeast With His Just Concluded Home Coming Concert This Easter. I Knew They would come For Him Because they just Saw His Strength; they were doing This So they could Break Him To Make Him secure in Supporting Them Under Duress. The Oppression of us Igbos Will Never Stop, But Let Me Tell All Of You We Will Never Stop. Cubana Chief Priest was detained by the EFCC last year for mistreating Naira. The businessman was charged with three counts by the commission for allegedly violating the Central Bank Act of 2007 by spraying and tampering with naira during a social gathering.
Additionally, popular crossdresser Bobrisky was detained by the EFCC last year for misusing Naira, for which he entered a guilty plea. He begged the judge to grant him another chance, stating that he would utilize his position to educate and enlighten his followers about money spraying. Unfortunately, the judge did not pardon his misbehavior, and he was given a six-month jail sentence without the possibility of a fine.
