Ace musician Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Face, has weighed in on the growing debate comparing singer Wizkid with the late Afrobeat legend Fela Anikulapo-Kuti.
According to the Media, Wizkid sparked controversy after claiming he is “bigger” than Fela while responding to Seun Kuti’s criticisms over the comparison between the Ojuelegba star and the Afrobeat pioneer.

In a snippet from the upcoming episode of the Mic On podcast, 2Face dismissed the comparison as “ridiculous,” describing it as both disrespectful to Fela’s legacy and unfair to Wizkid’s career.
The African Queen singer noted that comparing Fela and Wizkid overlooks the differences in their eras, influence, and individual contributions to Nigerian music.
“Comparing Fela with Wizkid is ridiculous. Not only is it disrespectful to Fela, but it is also unfair to Wizkid,” 2Face stated.
